It is a looped picot cord, worked in a scalloped row. Not lace. A picot holds through washing and does not fray; lace lifts where it turns. It runs on six edges: the collar, both placket sides, the pocket top, each sleeve hem, and the leg opening of the short. Every corner is turned by hand. A corner not turned tight will pucker. The lavender close-up shows the loop spacing.
The shirt is a notch collar on a straight front fall, with a short sleeve finished on a single turn. The placket runs center front on small buttons, and the chest pocket is patch-set left. The hem is straight at the hip. The short is a short cut on an elasticated waist that the shirt covers. Ivory carries navy, and two more colorways run.
Modal is a cellulose fiber spun from beech wood, softer than standard viscose and holding its dimensions better. It matters here: a cloth that moves in the wash drags the picot out of line. Four blends are on the sheet, from 97% modal + 3% spandex to 70% modal + 25% cotton + 5% spandex. LENZING™ Modal is the branded fiber, and standard modal is the cheaper route on the same pattern. All four hold to Anti-Pilling Grade 3.5+, Shrinkage ≤ 4%, Fastness Grade 4.

Four passes stand between the line and the carton. The trim is checked first. A picot not turned tight is the fault that shows on a hanger. Then the placket, buttoned flat. Every piece is bagged against a 100% check. Your pattern stays yours under an NDA. Where the fault is ours, we carry it.
The same block cuts as a cami shortie on a pleated ruffle, and as a long sleeve set.
