The four pieces

The baby's piece is a zip romper on a YKK zipper, opening neck to ankle with a chin guard and a covered placket. A change at 3am takes seconds and the baby stays flat. The cuffs are contrast ribbed.

Kids get a crew-neck two-piece in long sleeve and long leg, with ribbed cuffs at the wrist and ankle. It is the piece that gets worn after the holiday, which is why it is not a button front.

Parents get the button-placket pajama set: notch collar, chest pocket, contrast piping down the placket, around the collar and along the cuffs and hem, and a drawstring waist on the pant. Same construction for women's and men's sizes.

Why modal, and the three recipes

Modal is a cellulose fiber spun from beech wood. It has a softer hand than standard viscose, and it holds its shape better: less shrinkage, less pilling, and a drape that survives a wash. That is why the premium end of this category runs on it. We run 190gsm and 220gsm most often, and 220 is the year-round weight.

Three recipes are on the sheet. 95% modal + 5% spandex is what the photographs show. 47% cotton + 48% modal + 5% spandex brings cotton in for a drier hand while keeping the modal drape. The third is 95% bamboo + 5% spandex in Tanboocel® viscose, for buyers who need the bamboo story on the label. Across all three, Anti-Pilling Grade 3.5+, Shrinkage ≤ 4%, Fastness Grade 4.

The modal comes in two grades, and the choice is a price decision rather than a construction one. LENZING™ Modal is the branded fiber, and it is what the set in the photographs is cut from. Standard modal is the lower-cost option, on the same pattern and the same print. Say which grade you are quoting and the sheet is built around it.

Take the ribbed for the cuffs and the collar even where the body is jersey, because that is what keeps the trim in shape. Digital active dyeing is done in house, and we run vertically from fiber to finished garment, which is how one lot covers a size range from 3-6M to 4XL.

Your print, and the date that decides it

The construction set is fixed. The print is yours. Send artwork, or send a motif and our design team builds the repeat. We run it at one scale across the whole family rather than shrinking it onto the romper, so the family reads as one set in a photograph.

A holiday print is locked earlier than a stock print. It is a first run rather than a reorder, and the shade has to hold across a size range this wide. Add the sample round and the approval round, and the print deadline lands well before the production deadline.

Compliance & Testing

The documents go out with the order, and all of them can be read before you commit. Applicable OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certification is available for relevant certified article ranges, including modal and the cotton-modal blend, under certificates BJ020 287849 and BJ025 287848, valid to 15.07.2027. Children's sizes carry the sleepwear flammability reports for the destination market, which in the United States means US CPSC 16 CFR 1615/1616. That rule governs fit rather than chemistry, so nothing is added to the cloth. A CPSIA Children's Product Certificate is issued alongside.

Quality control

Four inspection points run through production, each returning photographs and production notes. Registration and shade are checked on the print before cutting. A final 100% quality check sits before packing, and then every size is laid flat together, because a color drift between the baby's romper and the men's set shows only when they sit side by side.

Where the print lands on the packaging and the brand tag is your call, and the neck tags are cut to your artwork. The file does not go to another buyer, the copyright stays with you, and an NDA is signed before it leaves.
